Our collected Letters in 2026 (10)
Let’s make someone’s day by sending a kind letter (and a picture!) to an older adult who would love some mail. We will use the official “Love for Our Elders” letter requests page to find where to send letters.
Send a warm, friendly letter (with a drawing or photo) to help an older adult feel remembered and cared for.
1) A short letter: introduce yourself (first name only), share something you like (books, pets, sports, art), and ask 1–2 friendly questions.
2) A picture: a drawing, coloring page, origami photo, or a snapshot of your artwork (no personal info in the picture).
3) Optional: stickers, a fun joke, or a small poem.
1) Use first name only (or a nickname).
2) Do not write your address, school name, phone number, email, or social media.
3) Ask an adult to help with mailing and to double-check the address from the request page.
4) Be kind and respectful (no scary topics, no teasing, no mean jokes).
1) Visit the request page and choose one request (with an adult).
2) Write your letter on paper (or type and print). Keep it 1–2 pages.
3) Draw a picture (or print a photo of your artwork). Write your first name on the back if you want.
4) Put the letter + picture into an envelope. Copy the mailing address exactly from the request page.
5) Add a stamp and mail it! or Give it to Oliver W and We will help you mail it out!
• “Hi! My name is ____ and I wanted to send you a happy letter.”
• “Something I enjoy is _____. Do you like ____ too?”
• “Here is a picture I made for you. I hope it makes you smile!”
• “What is your favorite snack / song / hobby?”
Love For Our Elders posts new requests on the 1st of every month, and the mailing addresses are removed at the end of the month. Please double-check the official request page before mailing your letter.
